Three teenagers have been charged over a fire that tore through a Dundee market.

More than 60 firefighters fought the flames at the Hilltown Indoor Market in September.

The market, on Main Street, was completely destroyed by the fire, while a neighbouring gym also sustained serious damage.

On Tuesday, police in the city confirmed two boys, aged 13 and 15, and a 16-year-old man have been charged in connection with the fire.

The 13 and 15-year-olds will be reported to the children's reporter and the procurator fiscal.

A further report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal regarding the 16-year-old.

Police said enquiries into the blaze are continuing.
