Police are hunting two masked robbers after a raid on a bookmakers in Aberdeen.

The pair made off with a small quantity of cash after targeting Coral on Foresterhill Road at 6.45pm on Monday.

Officers are keen to trace two people who were both wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.

The first man is 6ft 3in, of large build, and spoke with a Scottish accent.

The second person is 5ft 6in and also spoke with a Scottish accent.

Detective sergeant Sam Harris said: "Fortunately no one was injured during this incident, however, the members of staff who were working at the time have naturally been left shaken.

"We are urging anyone with information or who saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area at the time to contact us on 101."
