Lorry driver charged after police officer injured in crash
Emergency services were called to the smash at Haudagain roundabout in Aberdeen on Wednesday.
A lorry driver has been charged after a police officer was injured in a crash.
Emergency services were called to the smash at Haudagain roundabout in Aberdeen at 11.40am on Wednesday.
The male officer, who was riding a motorcycle, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The roundabout was blocked while investigations were carried out.
Police have now confirmed the 47-year-old lorry driver has been charged in relation to alleged careless driving.
A spokeswoman added: "He will be reported to the procurator fiscal and is expected to appear at court at a later date.
"The motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with non serious injuries."
