Teenage driver who died in two-car collision named
Hamish Farquharson was critically injured when his Mini was in a crash with a Mercedes.
Police have named a teenager who died after a two-vehicle crash on the A93.
Hamish Farquharson, from Ballater, Perth and Kinross, was critically injured near Blairgowrie when the Mini he was driving was involved in a collision with a Mercedes.
The accident happened at around 8:10pm on Thursday.
Mr Farquharson was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but later died from his injuries.
Police said a passenger in the Mercedes was seriously hurt and the driver sustained minor injuries.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
