Pensioner robbed in street attack after being followed
A four-figure sum was stolen from the 83-year-old man during the assault in Dundee.
A pensioner has been and robbed after being attacked by a man on a street in Dundee.
The 83-year-old man was assaulted after being followed from a bus stop in Harcourt Street to Canning Street at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.
Police, who have appealed for witnesses, said a four-figure sum of money was stolen from the victim.
Officers said he was badly shaken by the attack but not injured.
The robber, who is believed to be around 30-years-old with a grey beard, was last seen running along a footpath at Moncur Crescent's playpark, leading to Marryat Street.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: " Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101."
