At least one person has been injured after an industrial accident involving an oil tanker in Forfar.

Police and fire crews are in attendance at the incident on Orchardbank Business Park.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed the incident but said no further information was available at this time.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "We are currently in attendance at an industrial accident in Orcardbank Business Park. The incident is ongoing."

The emergency services remain at the scene, including two fire engines with heavy lifting equipment.

A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: "We received a call at 1025 to attend an incident at Orchardbank Industrial Estate, Forfar. We despatched an ambulance crew, our special operations response team and an air ambulance to the scene."
