A man has died following an incident at a business park in Angus.

Emergency services attended at Orchardbank Business Park in Forfar at 10.30am on Friday.

The Scottish Ambulance Service mobilised a crew, a special operations response team and an air ambulance to the scene.

The Scottish Fire & Rescue Service also sent two fire engines with heavy lifting equipment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson later confirmed the death of a 29-year-old man.

They said: "Police Scotland, along with other emergency services, were called to Orchardbank Business Park in Forfar at 10.30am today where sadly a 29-year-old man died.

"His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them.

"Enquiries are continuing and officers are liaising with the Health and Safety Executive.

"As with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
