A man has been charged by police after an incident at a match between Aberdeen and Rangers.

The 21-year-old man from Glasgow is accused of culpable and reckless conduct at Pittodrie stadium on Sunday, March 3.

He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later on Wednesday.

PC Thomas Bashforth, of the Divisional Alcohol and Violence Reduction Unit, said: "Thank you to those who assisted with and shared our appeal earlier this week - your information was invaluable."

The Scottish Cup quarter-final finished 1-1, before Aberdeen won the replay 1-0 at Ibrox.
