A teenager has been arrested after Class A drugs with a potential street value of £10,000 were recovered.

The substances were recovered in Fraserburgh on Friday.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

PC Morrison, of the Fraserburgh Community Policing Team said 'Tackling the misuse of drugs in the North East is a priority.

"This investigation has led to a significant quantity of illegal drugs being removed from the streets.
