Woman taken to hospital after road crash between lorry and car
A woman was taken to hospital and a second person suffered minor injuries after the crash on the B9119 Westhill to Midmar road.
Two people have been injured after a road crash between a car and lorry in Aberdeenshire.
It is understood one woman was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries and a second person was left with minor injuries.
Emergency services were still at the scene of the collision on the B9119 Westhill to Midmar road.
Police were alerted to the collision at 12.58pm on Friday and the road at Carnie was closed westbound at the Carnie roundabout. Local diversions are in place.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "The accident took place just before 1pm. An ambulance was in attendance and took one person to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with potentially serious injuries.
"The road is closed at the Carnie roundabout and diversions are in place."
