STV will be providing the fastest and most comprehensive broadcast and digital coverage of the Holyrood election.

As results are declared through the night STV will be broadcasting live from 10.30pm on Thursday to 6pm on Friday evening.

Television

Our election programme Scotland Decides will be live on the STV channel for viewers in Scotland, including the ITV Border Scotland region, and it will be streamed live worldwide on the STV Player.

STV's political editor Bernard Ponsonby will anchor the programme and will be joined by polling expert Rob Johns, ITV Border's political editor Peter MacMahon and a host of politicians and commentators as events unfold.

Scotland Tonight's Rona Dougall will take viewers behind the scenes at STV with insider insights from the channel's newsroom studio and the green room where politicians will gather ahead of joining Ponsonby in the main studio.

STV will be live at election counts from across the country. Holyrood editor Colin Mackay will be at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow as the ballot boxes are emptied.

Digital

The STV News website at stv.tv/election will provide immediate election news through a live ticker and video clips of the declarations.

There will be a dedicated live page featuring rolling updates from our reporters at every count.

Cartoonist Neil Slorance will be 'live sketching' the election night to bring some colour to the evening.
