Ruth Davidson to star in Great British Bake Off special
The Scottish Tory leader will use her appearance to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
Scottish Conservative leader Ruth Davidson will star in a special episode of the Great British Bake Off.
The MSP will take part in a charity special of the programme to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.
Davidson was previously a guest on the baking show's spin-off, An Extra Slice, when it aired on the BBC and has also been a panellist on Have I Got News For You.
The politician appeared alongside former Bake Off champion Nadiya Hussein, comedian Tom Allen and presenter Jo Brand last October when she critiqued the 2016 contestants' semi-final performances on An Extra Slice.
She has also previously spoken of her love of Strictly Come Dancing and her desire to one day strut her stuff on the ballroom floor.
When asked by the BBC's Andrew Neil if she fancied taking part in the show last year, she replied: "Do you know, I'd bloody love it!"
