Scottish candidates announced for European election
Political parties have unveiled candidates hoping to become MEPs following the election.
Scottish political parties have revealed their candidates for the upcoming European Parliament elections in May.
Voting is due to take place on Thursday May 23, however this could be called off if a Brexit deal is announced before then.
Parties put forward their preferred six candidates, with the number elected proportional to the share of votes received.
Scotland is represented by six MEPs in the European Parliament, with three current MEPs standing again in the election.
