Scotland Tonight to air special hour-long programme on Europe
The programme will be aired live from the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday night.
Scotland Tonight, STV's current affairs programme, is to broadcast an hour-long Europe special.
The programme will be aired live from the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday night and be presented by Rona Dougall.
Coming 50 days before the European Parliament elections, the Scotland Tonight special will hear from Scotland's six MEPs: The SNP's Ian Hudghton and Alyn Smith, Labour's David Martin and Catherine Stihler, the Liberal Democrats' George Lyon and the Conservatives' Struan Stevenson.
Two other parties who currently have no MEPs from Scotland will also feature: Patrick Harvie from the Greens and David Coburn from Ukip.
The 10.30pm broadcast will examine Scotland's relationship with Europe and what impact a Yes vote in the independence referendum would have.
STV's Peter Smith will analyse whether an independent Scotland would be a member state of the European Union. Meanwhile, STV's political editor Bernard Ponsonby will look at where the European election polls stand.
