Daytrippers and holidaymakers urged to enjoy 'car-free tourism'
Transform Scotland's "Car-Free Tourism" guide was launched on Tuesday.
Tourists are being urged to get to and from attractions in Scotland by foot, bike or public transport.
Transform Scotland's Car-Free Tourism guide was launched on Tuesday.
Available online here, it provides information about seeing "the best of Scotland without a car" or having to jump between different travel planning websites.
The online guide provides details on using local buses, the nearest railway stations to attractions and walking and cycling routes.
Transform Scotland hopes the guide will inspire those managing tourist sites to look at how they can do their bit to improve access and encourage visitors and daytrippers to leave the car behind this summer.
