Former Hibs player Garry O’Connor has been charged with drug offences after the weekend’s Edinburgh derby.
The 29-year-old was arrested on Leith Walk in Edinburgh on Sunday and charged in connection with drugs offences.
Lothian and Borders Police said he has been released on police bail and ordered to attend court at a later date.
A spokeswoman for the force said: “A 29-year-old man has been charged in connection with alleged drugs offences and is due to appear at court at a later date.”
The game, at Easter Road, saw Hibs beat Hearts 1-0 in the Scottish Cup fourth round.
O'Connor started his career with Hibs and was with the team for six years. He returned for the 2011-12 season and now plays for Russian side Tom Tomsk.
