Teenager arrested after 'spitting on Hearts ball boy' at Tynecastle
A 16-year-old has been arrested after the incident at Tynecastle on Thursday night.
A teenager has been arrested after allegedly spitting on a ball boy at the New Year Edinburgh derby.
The ball had been kicked into the Roseburn stand at Tynecastle, which was populated by Hibs fans, on Thursday night and the Hearts ball boy was trying to retrieve it.
A 16-year-old is said to have spat on him after he returned to the field and was arrested by police at the stadium.
Another man was arrested for drunk and disorderly behaviour.
Lothian and Borders Police praised the behaviour of fans at the derby, which saw the game end 0-0.
