Body of missing man discovered by search teams on Inverclyde farm

The body of a missing man has been discovered by search teams in farmland.
Edward Hendry was last seen at the Haven drugs and alcohol addiction treatment facility in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde.
The 36-year-old was reported missing at around 5.45pm on Friday, December 7.
At the time of his disappearance, the police said the family of Mr Hendry, of Macbeth Road, Greenock, was concerned for his safety.
On Friday, Strathclyde Police said officers from their mountain rescue team had recovered the body of a man during a search near Chapel Farm in Kilmacolm at around 1pm the previous day.
A force spokeswoman said: "Although formal identification has still to take place, the man is believed to be Edward Henry and relatives have been informed.
"A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however, there would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
