Teenager detained over death of Ayrshire barman
18-year-old man held after death of Stuart Walker whose remains were found on a Cumnock industrial estate.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of barman Stuart Walker.
Strathclyde Police confirmed the man was taken into custody on Thursday evening, less than a week after Mr Walker's body was discovered at an industrial estate in Cumnock, Ayrshire.
Mr Walker, 28, died after suffering what police described as "horrible injuries".
His body was discovered shortly before 5am on Saturday.
The 28-year-old's death was raised in both the House of Commons and the Scottish Parliament this week, with Prime Minister David Cameron urging members of the public to come forward and help detectives.
The teenager is expected to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday.
A report is being prepared for the procurator fiscal.
