Man spotted drenched in blood at lay-by used by canoeists

A search has been launched after a man was spotted covered in blood at a lay-by used by canoeists.
Police have launched an appeal and an investigation is under way after a report of the man on a road in Stirlingshire at the weekend.
He was seen at around 7.30pm on Saturday at the lay-by on the A84 between Callander and Buchany, adjacent to the River Teith.
The man had blood on his face and shirt and officers have urged anyone who saw him to come forward as the try to ensure he is now safe and well.
A statement from Police Scotland said: "Police in Forth Valley have received reports of a male seen at the canoeists' lay-by on the A84 between Callander and Buchany around 7.30pm on Saturday, January 28.
"He had blood on his face and shirt. Officers are seeking to trace the man in order to check on his welfare. Any information, please phone 101."
