Identity of man, 31, found dead in Polmont home is revealed
Martin McAllister's death is being treated as 'unexplained' as officers continue their investigation.
The identity of a man who was found dead in his house has been revealed.
Officers discovered the body of Martin McAllister at the home in Station Road in the Brightons area of Polmont at around 8.30am on Tuesday.
An investigation into the 31-year-old’s death saw forensic officers searching the local area as they tried to work out where he had been before his death.
Nearby Brightons Inn on Waggon Road was also sealed off as part of the inquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Police in Forth Valley Division are investigating following after a 31-year-old man was found dead within his home address in Station Road, Brightons on Tuesday 1st October.
"Enquiries to establish the man's previous movements will result in police activity within the Brightons area and the local community is thanked for their co-operation and support.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course."
