A man has appeared in court charged with murdering two people found dead at a Dundee flat.
The bodies of Holly Alexander, 37, and Ronnie Kidd, 40, were found in the property on Rosefield Street on Sunday night.
Krzysztof Gadecki appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court facing two charges of murder on Wednesday.
It is alleged that between December 8 and December 11 he assaulted the pair at the flat by repeatedly striking them on the body with a knife or similar instrument.
Gadecki, 37, of Dundee, made no plea or declaration during a 45-minute hearing in private and the case was continued for further examination.
His solicitor asked Gadecki be released on bail but sheriff Simon Collins QC refused and remanded him in custody ahead of a further appearance next week.
Holly Alexander is understood to be from New York and moved to the UK with husband Forrest, where the pair set up the Pizza NY takeaway on the Hilltown in Dundee.
