Hunt for hit-and-run driver who left people injured in crash
Two cars were involved in the collision on a busy main road in Dundee on Wednesday.
A hit-and-run driver is being hunted after fleeing the scene of a crash that left the occupants of another car injured.
Two cars were involved in the collision on a busy main road in Dundee at around 7pm on Wednesday.
The incident happened at 7pm on Blackness Road near Marchfield Road and involved a Citroen C3 and a Vauxhall.
The driver of the Vauxhall failed to stop, leaving the occupants of the Citroen with minor injuries.
The Vauxhall was last seen heading down Balgay Road and police believe the vehicle may have been in convoy with a dark Audi car.
A statement from police said: "Police Scotland is carrying out enquiries after a road traffic collision which happened at Blackness Road, Dundee, on Wednesday.
"It is understood the driver of the Vauxhall failed to stop, leaving the occupants of the Citroen with minor injuries.
"The Vauxhall was last seen travelling northwards in Balgay Road, possibly in convoy with a dark coloured Audi motor car."
It added: "Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Tayside Division on 101 or any police officer.
"Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
