Helicopter search over reports of man seen in River Tay

A coastguard helicopter is searching the River Tay following reports of a man in the water.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident near the Queen's Bridge in Perth at around 9pm on Monday and launched a major search operation.
The man seen in the water is believed to be Iain Guthrie, a 20-year-old man who was reported missing a short time afterwards.
Police officers, firefighters, the RNLI and coastguard teams stood down at 3am on Tuesday and resumed the search at 7am.
A spokeswoman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: "The search is ongoing at the moment but the weather conditions are not fantastic.
"We were informed just after 9.15pm when the police asked us to send a team and call the inshore lifeboat."
Anyone who has seen Mr Guthrie, who is 5ft 9in tall, with a slim build, short black hair and brown eyes, has been asked to contact police on 101.
He was wearing a dark green fleece top, dark blue jeans and dark-coloured walking shoes when last seen.
