Concerns have been raised for the welfare of a Glasgow man who was last seen over a week ago.

Brian Roberts, 47, travelled to Ross-shire on Thursday March 17 and was last seen in Alness, near the Cromarty Firth in the Highlands, at around 7pm on Sunday, March 20.

Police believe Mr Roberts may have returned to the Glasgow area but are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

He is 5ft 9in, of medium build, with grey hair and a slight limp when he walks. At the time of his last sighting he was wearing a black Puffa jacket, black jeans and a grey cardigan.

Anyone who believes they have seen Mr Roberts should contact Police Scotland on the non-emergency number 101.
