A CCTV image of a man has been released by police investigating an attack at a nightclub.

The serious assault happened at Club Mango in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, on February 27 this year.

Officers are looking for a man described as white, with light brown short hair and of slim build. He was wearing a navy blue jacket with a navy T-shirt underneath, navy trousers and brown shoes.

Inspector David Quinn said: "I believe that this person who was seen in Club Mango is key to this investigation.

"I would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward to police as a matter of urgency.

"Anyone with any information that may assist police inquiries should contact Police Scotland on 101.

"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555111, where anonymity can be maintained."
