Police investigating the attempted robbery of a petrol station have released CCTV images of a man they wish to question.

The incident occurred at Jet petrol station, by the Drumry Roundabout on Great Western Road, Glasgow, at around 4pm on February 6.

The man police are hoping to speak to is described as white with a local accent, aged between 17 and 25 and 5ft 10in with a medium build.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a red Nike hooded sweatshirt, a black top, dark jogging trousers and dark trainers.

Anyone with further information is asked to contact PC Stirling at Police Scotland's Greater Glasgow Community Investigation Unit on 101.
