A driver has been injured after a one-car crash near Loch Fyne.

The incident happened on the A83, near Cairndow, at around 5.40pm on Wednesday.

The road has been shut in both directions while emergency services deal with the incident.

An air ambulance was dispatched to take the injured man to hospital.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 5.40pm, police were called to a report of a one-car road crash on the A83 near Cairndow.

"Emergency services are in attendance. The air ambulance is required for one person who is injured."
