Man who died after falling into path of pensioner's car named
John Bell, 58, died after stumbling onto the road outside a convenience store in Larkhall.
A man who died after falling on to the road and being hit by a car in South Lanarkshire has been named by police.
John Bell, 58, died on Saturday evening after stumbling onto Craigbank Road, Larkhall.
Officers say CCTV footage shows the man falling onto the road where he was struck by a blue Ford Fiesta.
The 72-year-old female driver of the car was uninjured.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
