Police have released images of 12 people they wish to speak to following the violent scenes which marred the end of the Scottish Cup final at Hampden.

Thousands of fans spilled on to the pitch following the final whistle on Saturday, May 21, resulting in violent clashes between Hibs and Rangers supporters.

Hundreds of police, including mounted officers, took to the field in an attempt to restore order but the scale of the incursion delayed the trophy presentation by over 45 minutes.

Police investigating the disorder have so far made 114 arrests in their ongoing investigation. Police say they are keen to speak to the people pictured as part of their enquiries.

Anyone with information about the identities of those pictured is asked to contact the incident room on 0141 532 5457 or the dedicated mailbox address: scottishcupfinalpitchinvasion@scotland.pnn.police.uk.

Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
