Death of woman in Glasgow house treated as unexplained
The 36-year-old was discovered dead at a property in Maryhill on Wednesday afternoon.
A woman has been found dead at a house in the north of Glasgow.
The 36-year-old was discovered in the property on Glenfinnan Road in Maryhill on Wednesday afternoon.
Police found the body at around 3pm and a major investigation has now been launched as officers continue to examine the scene.
Detectives are currently treating the death as unexplained and a post-mortem is yet to take place.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 3.05pm on Wednesday, January 4, the body of a 36-year-old woman was found within a house in Glenfinnan Road, Maryhill.
"A post-mortem examination will take place in in due course to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained by police and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
