A woman has been injured after a two-car crash on a busy road next to an Asda superstore.

Emergency services were called to the collision in Helen Street, Glasgow, at around 5.10pm, near the entrance to Asda's Govan store.

The 31-year-old woman was taken to by paramedics to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital to be treated, although she is not thought to be seriously hurt. No one else was injured in the crash.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "At around 5.10pm police were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision.

"A 31-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she is being treated for minor injuries.

"Officers remain at the scene to allow for recovery of the vehicles."
