A body found in woods near the Erskine Bridge has been identified as a man who went missing last summer.
William McKenna, from Dalmuir, Clydebank, disappeared in July 2016 sparking a huge search operation.
In November, a man's body was discovered in a wooded area in Bishopton, near the Erskine Bridge.
On Monday, officers confirmed that the body has been identified as belonging to the missing 39-year-old.
Police said a post-mortem was carried out and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
