Man arrested after city centre 'hit-and-run murder bid'

A man has been arrested after over an alleged hit-and-run murder bid.
A 32-year-old man was left seriously injured after the incident Glasgow city centre.
He was knocked down by a vehicle in Jamaica Street in the early hours of Wednesday January 11.
Police investigating the incident said it was being treated as an attempted murder.
On Friday, Police Scotland said a 23-year-old man has been arrested.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
