A man has been attacked after going to a flat to complain about persistent noise.

The 37-year-old victim was assaulted by a gang after confronting his neighbours in Glasgow.

Witnesses say the man was put in a headlock in a common close in the flats in Govanhill on Tuesday night while a number of men from the flat reigned in blows.

It is understood the victim did not need hospital treatment.
