"We are continuing to carry out enquiries in the area and I am appealing to local people to contact us.

"In particular, a lady who came to the victim's aid, I would ask this lady to contact us as she may hold vital information which could assist our enquiries."

The first suspect is described as being white, of a stocky build and in his 40s.

He has short red hair and was wearing a hoodie and a black baseball cap.

The other man is described as being older and around 6ft with short brown hair.

Officers are carrying out door-to-door enquiries following the attack.
