A car has been stolen from an Arnold Clark compound.

A Volkswagen Golf, worth £30,000, was taken from the facility on Pottery Street in Greenock, Inverclyde.

The car was driven out of the forecourt and was captured on CCTV heading towards Port Glasgow on the A8.

Police Scotland confirmed a key is thought to have been used to steal the vehicle, which was being stored in a compound.

The incident happened on Thursday, October 5, at 1.30pm.
