Patient 'bit and kicked' paramedic while being treated
Emergency services were called to Dalreoch train station in West Dunbartonshire.
A man having a suspected seizure has been arrested for allegedly biting and kicking a paramedic who was treating him.
Emergency services were called to help the 39-year-old at Dalreoch train station, West Dunbartonshire.
It is alleged a paramedic was bitten and kicked by the man, forcing them to call the police at 3.30pm on Wednesday.
The man was arrested following the incident.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We are aware of an incident involving one of our technicians who was attending to a patient at Dalreoch station on Wednesday, October 18.
"The technician was treated by a backup crew and then taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital by his crew member.
"The incident was reported to Police Scotland.
"The service is fully supporting the technician involved."
