Workers were evacuated from a Scots Amazon depot due to a bomb threat.

Emergency services were called to the warehouse on Cloch Road at Faulds Park in Gourock, Inverclyde, following the alert at 5.15am on Friday.

The bomb squad was called and staff were evacuated from the depot.

Following an investigation, the item found was thought to be a tracking device.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the suspicious package is not a viable device.

"The item appears to be some sort of tracking device.

"It will be disassembled by EOD personel and removed by police for further forensic examination. Enquiries are continuing."
