A car has been set on fire and four others vandalised after an Arnold Clark garage was targeted by two "reckless individuals".

Detectives are appealing for information following the wilful fire-raising and vandalism incident which took place on Great Western Road, Clydebank.

Two men entered the yard of Arnold Clark at around 11pm on Tuesday, October 31, and set a Nissan Qashqai on fire.

They also vandalised four other cars before leaving the premises around midnight.

Detective Sergeant Alan Macdougall from Clydebank CID said: "Enquiries are underway to trace these two reckless individuals and officers are currently examining CCTV as well as speaking to people in the area.

"I would appeal to anyone who was near to the Arnold Clark garage on Tuesday night, and may have noticed two men acting suspiciously, to please get in touch.
