Tim Hortons has announced the opening date for its second outlet in Scotland.

The Canadian coffee chain will open a new shop in Silverburn Shopping Centre in Glasgow on Thursday, November 16.

The new outlet will be located in the Wintergarden, next to Patisserie Valerie.

It comes fives month after the first UK coffee shop opened on the city's Argyle Street.

Chief finance and commercial Kevin Hydes said: "We are thrilled to announce we are opening in Silverburn Shopping Centre.

"It is a fantastic area and shares similar values with Tim Hortons - a strong sense of community and friendly culture."
