A man was spat on before being repeatedly punched after a football match.

The attack happened at 8.10pm following the Rangers v Partick Thistle game at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday.

The man, in his 50s, boarded the Glasgow Subway at Ibrox, where two men began to sing offensive songs.

One then spat on him before both punched him repeatedly on the head and body.

The pair ran away following the attack, which left the man with swelling to his face and eye.

The first attacker is white, slim and has short brown hair. He was wearing a black Adidas hooded fleece, dark jogging bottoms and white trainers.

The second man is white, slim and has dark hair. He was wearing a light hooded jacket, black trousers and dark shoes.
