A 26-year-old man has been robbed in a flat in South Lanarkshire.

The man answered his door to three men on Ann Street in Hamilton at around 1am on Sunday

The men pushed their way into the flat, demanding money, threatening the victim with a knife.

The three suspects then searched through the flat and left a short time later with a watch and keys.

The victim was uninjured but badly shaken.

He left the flat and flagged down a local taxi - a blue Citroen Berlingo - on Glasgow Road to take him to the police station.

The first suspect is described as white, in his 30s and around 6ft, with dark coloured hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit.

The second suspect was white, in his 30s, under 6ft, with dark coloured hair. He was wearing a navy coloured tracksuit.

The last suspect is described as white, in his 30s, under 6ft, with dark coloured hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark coloured jogging trousers.
