A campaign to retrieve the bodies of two fishermen who disappeared when their boat sank on Loch Fyne has raised £75,000.

Duncan MacDougall and Przemek Krawczyk are both presumed dead following the sinking of the Nancy Glen on January 18.

Their families believe their bodies lie in the wreck of the Tarbert trawler, which now lies on the seabed.

Following the sinking, the Clyde Fishermen's Trust launched a fundraising campaign to retrieve their bodies and provide for their families.

More than 1700 donations have been made, including a £1000 pledge from the crew of the MV Frigate Bird.

Only one man, John Miller, survived the sinking of the Nancy Glen.

He was rescued from the water by the crew of a passing boat and was treated at Mid Argyll Hospital.

A series of searches were carried out for his missing colleagues but no trace was found.
