Man left with serious injuries after Glasgow street brawl
Two men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after the disturbance in Sauchiehall Street.
A 36-year-old man has been seriously injured during a brawl in Glasgow city centre.
Another man, 36, was also injured during the attack in Sauchiehall Street near Elmbank street at around 2.55am on Thursday.
Emergency services attended and both men were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
The two men were injured during a disturbance involving up to four other men.
One of the suspects has been described as around 6ft tall, bald with a slim build and wearing a dark blue jacket.
Another suspect is in his late thirties, around 6ft tall and with short dark hair.
Police are combing CCTV footage in a bid to trace the suspects.
Detective Constable Andy Shields said: "We are in the process of establishing exactly what has happened and what caused the disturbance which led to the two men being assaulted.
"This area would have been busy with club goers and revellers and CCTV footage shows people milling about the area.
"I am therefore appealing to anyone who was in the area where the incident occurred to contact us. Any small piece of information could help us piece together the circumstances of what happened and help us trace those responsible."
