Concerns are growing for a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since Friday.

Maryann Crumlish was last seen at around 7pm on Friday February 16 when she left her home in Corlic Street, Greenock.

Her family have not heard from her since.

She is described as 5ft 6 inches with a slim build and pale complexion. She has black collar length hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a green/blue hooded top, black ripped jeans and black trainers when she was last seen.

Police have been surveying CCTV and speaking with friends and family in a bid to trace her.

Sergeant Chris McKay said: "Maryann has gone missing before, however has always returned within a short space of time.

"As times goes on, ourselves and her family are becoming increasingly worried for her safety.

"We believe that she may be within the Greenock or Gourock area, possibly with friends, and would appeal to anyone who may have seen her, or have information about her whereabouts to get in contact with us.

"We would also appeal to Maryann herself, please get in touch with ourselves or to go home to your family and let them know you are safe."

Anyone with any information regarding Maryann's whereabouts should contact officers at Greenock Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 3375 of Friday February 16.
