A 15 year-old girl who has been missing Greenock since Friday may be in the company of a teenage boy.

Maryann Crumlish, 15, from Corlic Street, was last seen around 7pm when she left her home.

Her family have had no contact with her since.

Police Scotland have now revealed Maryann may be with a 16- year-old boy.

Sergeant David Bradley from Greenock Police office said: "As time goes on and we don't hear from Maryann we are becoming increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

"We ask Maryann if she reads this, please get in touch with her family or police to let us know that she is safe and well."

Maryann is 5ft 6in, of slim build with a pale complexion, black collar length hair and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a green/blue hooded top, black ripped jeans and black trainers.

The boy is described as white, around 5ft 8in, of heavy build with short fair hair.

He was wearing a black & grey North Face jacket, navy jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Officers have been checking CCTV and speaking to those that know Maryann to try and trace her.
