Boys chased down by dog after police car's window smashed

Two boys were chased down by a police dog after allegedly breaking the window of a patrol car in East Renfrewshire.
The incident occurred at around 5.30pm on Wednesday while officers were attending a callout on Waulkmill Street in Thornliebank.
Police dog Remo was called in with his handler and two boys were arrested and charged with vandalism.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "While officers were attending an incident on Waulkmill Street a group of youths smashed the window of a police vehicle.
"An officer with a police dog attended to assist and two male youths were arrested and charged."
