Hundreds of homes in Glasgow have been left without power after a major power cut.
At around 2pm on Wednesday, Scottish Power confirmed a major power outage in the Battlefield and Langside area of Glasgow, affecting 350 homes.
A spokesman said they originally reacted to reports of a digger cutting through a power line, but that the cause of the fault in the system could not be confirmed.
He said: "I can confirm that 350 homes in the area are being affected by the issue.
"We have heard reports of a digger being involved, but the cause of the fault in the system cannot be confirmed.
"People can expect their power to be back on in the next couple of hours at the most."
