Three people have appeared in court after a man was allegedly stabbed to death.

Emergency services were called to Reidvale Street in Dennistoun Glasgow, shortly after 5pm on Monday.

Brian Boyle, 56, was rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed, where he did shortly after.

Paul McCann, 37, Mark Moncrieff, 32, and Domenica Smith 24, were arrested and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with murder.

They were also each charged with assault and threatening behaviour during the private court appearance, while Moncrieff was also accused of assaulting a police officer.

All three, who are from Glasgow, were remanded in custody with the case committed for further examination.

The trio are expected to return to court next week.
